It’s a busy time for Pristine Periodontics. On November 15th, our practice hosted the seminar entitled “The Oral Systemic Link: What Should We Be Telling Our Patients?” Dr. Sayed lectured on information pertaining to the association between oral health and the systemic health. This seminar supplied valuable new age information and supported continuing education. We thank all the doctors who attended.
The Motor City Study Club will also be taking place this month for members, so there’s a lot of valuable and forward thinking information circulating:
PATIENT’S AT RISK – UNDERSTANDING THE ORAL-SYSTEMIC LINK on November 29th. We have arranged for a phenomenal line-up of top-rated speakers for this evening and I am sure we will all learn a tremendous amount from each of them. The evening will go as follows:
- 6:00 – 6:30 p.m.: Arrive for dinner and socializing
- 6:30 SHARP – 7:15 p.m.: Anna Marandici, M.D. (Cardiologist)
- 7:15 – 8:00 p.m.: Laura Price, M.D., M.B.A. (OB-GYN)
- 8:00 – 8:45 p.m.: Nishath Hakim, M.D. (Internal Medicine/Pediatrics/Concierge Medicine)
Additionally, Pristine Periodontics and Implants will be participating in Salvation Army’s Coats for Kids. This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the community and help out kids who are less fortunate. All donations need to be new, and any contribution could make a child’s holiday season that much merrier.
How Can I Help?
The Salvation Army Coats for Kids program has been keeping kids warm for over 30 years. With the holiday season upon us, now is a better time than ever to give back to our community.
Drop by the office to say hi and donate whatever you can to help out a great cause. We stand by giving to our community, and know that our patients do as well.
